Pink is the New Color for Water Bottle Caps in October
DES MOINES, Iowa - October 14, 2013 - Culligan Water of Iowa is going pink to help support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Culligan stores located in Adel, Boone, Spencer and Waterloo will be manufacturing pink caps for their five gallon bottles of drinking water that are sold for use of their water coolers. A portion of the pink capped bottle sales will go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
"This is our first time doing this and we are very excited to support such an important cause," said Jeff Jaehrling of Culligan. "It's just another way for all of us here to support the research and hopefully one day the elimination of breast cancer."
At the end of October, participating Culligan stores will total up the number of bottles purchased and donate a portion of the profits to their local cancer society office in their respective community.
